Elizabeth Blackburn, Ph.D.

In 2009, Dr Elizabeth Blackburn won the Nobel Prize for her discovery of telomerase, the enzyme that replenishes telomeres – biomarkers since called the greatest predictors of longevity. Since then, she’s been researching how diet, exercise and other lifestyle habits and interventions influence telomeres, and therefore our lifespan and our healthspan.
